2025 Primary Endorsements
Our Values, Our Process, Our Candidates: In light of rising antisemitic incidents across New York City, we believe it’s crucial to support candidates who uphold values of inclusivity, respect, and unity. This guide highlights leaders committed to keeping NYC safe and supportive for all communities, including Jewish New Yorkers.
This guide reflects a democratic and bipartisan process led by committed volunteers and local stakeholders
Endorsements are based on public records, candidate questionnaires, and participation in public forums
Some endorsed candidates are not on the June ballot due to uncontested primaries. They will appear in the November general election. We will release additional endorsements ahead of the November election.
In some races, we included ranked preferences
In others, no candidate met our criteria or none was ideal, so we either made no endorsement or selected the best available candidate who still aligns with our core values. Even among those who met our core standards, some raised concerns. We will be watching closely and hoping to see stronger leadership ahead

Local elections matter more than people realize. Please vote — and ask a friend to do the same. The lack of strong choices in many races is disappointing — and a reminder that we need better candidates. If you care about protecting the Jewish community and showing moral clarity, step up and run. We need you!
